I could swallow suns

I could swallow suns
I could consume the moon
I could inhale frosted
strings of stars
and still
I would hunger
for the small sounds
of you
crossing the finite space
of this room
my cosmos turns
with the floorboards
beneath your
meteoric feet
every impact
changing the face
of my space forever
brushing comet-tails
of craving
between the blades
of my shoulders
birthing black holes
of want
to deliciously
devour me

    1. In love with life at the moment – I think this was maybe more the memory of being so in love with someone that it felt like every movement on their part sent ripples through the universe… which is a nice thing to be able to remember 🙂
