in my truest life,
I have learned
to know my own bones

and to love
the companionship
of my own thoughts
when alone

and yet to
appreciate still
the return to home

Lovely! I have been missing Shi Shi, we used to visit every year but now it has been a few years since I’ve gone back. Great picture of the Point of Arches. Your poem captures the solitude and reflection of being in nature and connecting with self. ❤
