I enjoyed reading this. I rested in silence a while. This arrived: WHILE RAMBLING An awkward pause and hangs Littering an otherwise tidy saunter A moveless tension, a muted shudder A waltz, a tango beyond sight or sound Flowery meadow once dappled glades Enfolding the as yet unimaginables A fresh breeze stirs the stillness Pops the wig bubble and I walk on LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Wonderful! Always a pleasure if something I write inspires another piece. 🙂 Thanks for sharing it with me! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
So beautifully succinct yet says so much. I can hear the sound of the three fallen trees (in the photo) – and the silence. ❤️ LikeLike Reply
Sounds like a sense of the approach of winter, which is a difficult feeling to experience. Hugs. LikeLike Reply
I love that line about the dust – maybe because I live on a dirt road!

WHILE RAMBLING
An awkward pause and hangs
Littering an otherwise tidy saunter
A moveless tension, a muted shudder

Enfolding the as yet unimaginables
A fresh breeze stirs the stillness
Pops the wig bubble and I walk on
